My Country is Under Attack: If Necessary, I Will Join the Army - Levon Aronian

Levon Aronian gave an interview to Chess24, discussing the situation in Artsakh and Armenia.

“My country is under attack from Turkey and Azerbaijan. If necessary, I will join the army. We are defending our right to live in peace. This is the only concern for every Armenian at this moment. I will return and do everything in my power to help my country,” said Aronian.

Aronian made these statements just a day after his victory against Magnus Carlsen in the finals of a tournament held in Norway.
