Leader of 'Italia Viva' Coalition Expresses Support for the Armenian People

We stand beside the Armenian people, with whom we share a European and Christian identity, and we urge the Italian government and the entire international community to make clear efforts to ensure that Armenia is not subjected to attack.

This was stated by Maria Stella Gelmini, the leader of the 'Italia Viva' coalition, during a session in the Chamber of Deputies of Italy, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

"There needs to be a clear position and immediate initiatives to restore peace in the Caucasus region. We must put an end to destabilizing behavior and demonstrate a constructive approach to halt military operations," she said.
