72 Weapons and Ammunition Neutralized in Artsakh

The Crisis Management Center of the Republic of Artsakh's Ministry of Emergency Situations has been operating in a non-permanent deployment location under emergency conditions since October 2. Both in the pre-war period and in recent days, the center has been responding promptly to all calls from the population and providing humanitarian assistance.

Since September 27, various distress calls have been received at the 911 hotline, relating to domestic, technical, and security issues. Last week, the service's call center recorded 9,137 calls and received more than 400 reports. The majority of the calls—105—related to the livelihoods of the population.

Rescuers are delivering necessary medicines and food supplies to shelters, transporting citizens with health problems to medical centers, and providing assistance. There have been 72 reports of the discovery of weapons and ammunition. The service's demining teams have transported and destroyed the weapons and munitions discovered from the yards of residential buildings and private homes, as well as from adjacent plots and gardens.

Since the first days of the war, due to the targeting of peaceful residents and the shelling of settlements by Azerbaijani armed forces, hundreds of fire alarms have been received. Firefighters have mostly succeeded in timely firefighting. In just the past week, 10 residential houses and vehicles were set on fire due to the shelling. All fires have been extinguished.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Artsakh continues to provide strengthened rear support. The emergency hotlines 911, 101, and 112 are always available and accessible everywhere.
