Azerbaijan Has No Significant Success in the North: Artur Hovhannisyan
"Let us state that Azerbaijan has once again failed to adhere to the ceasefire call, a condition proposed this time by the French side," said Armenian Ministry of Defense spokesperson Artur Hovhannisyan during a press briefing today.
Hovhannisyan recalled that combat operations have continued since early morning. The directions remain the same. Initially, attempts were made for missile strikes in the northern direction, but they were repelled, resulting in no significant success.
"During the same period, in the southern direction, they attempted to launch offensive operations in two separate areas. One direction saw them fleeing under the fire of the RA Armed Forces artillery, being pushed back and losing a considerable amount of equipment, including a large quantity of ammunition. In another direction, they continued their offensive battles, and as a result of fierce fighting, they have made some territorial changes. However, it is a 5th generation war with high-tech means and maneuvering groups, and there are no separate operations being conducted to maintain static front lines," Hovhannisyan stated.
