CBS Television Network Director Apologizes to Armenians for Employees' Hate Speech
The American CBS Television Network director, George Cheeks, has apologized to members of the Armenian community for his employees' hate speech directed at Armenians protesting against Azerbaijan's aggression in Artsakh.
This was reported by the Los Angeles Times. Cheeks sent a letter to the Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles, Armen Bayburdyan, apologizing for the incident that took place near the company's building.
In the letter, Cheeks mentioned that during a protest organized by representatives of the Armenian community, two employees of the news organization made hate-filled comments towards the Armenian demonstrators. The company’s management has informed that the activities of these employees have been terminated, noting that the values of the former employees do not align with those of CBS.
