We Must Concentrate the Entire Armenian Potential on Solving This Problem: Nikol Pashinyan
The principle of "separation for salvation," which is a modern manifestation of the principle of self-determination for peoples, allows specific groups and nations to separate from any state when facing discrimination, large-scale violations of human rights, or the risk of genocide. It also excludes unification with a state if such unity leads to the aforementioned consequences. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expresses this on his Facebook page.
“Especially, this should be the foundation of our approach to the resolution of the Karabakh issue, and the involvement of mercenary-terrorists in the current war, alongside the terrorist activities of Turkey and Azerbaijan, provides a real opportunity to reach such international understanding. We must concentrate the entire Armenian potential on solving this problem,” he wrote.
