U.S. Secretary of State Pompeo Reaffirms Our Common Vision: Masis Mayilyan

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh, Masis Mayilyan, announced that Mike Pompeo reaffirmed our common vision that a resolution to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict can only be achieved through peaceful negotiations.

According to Mayilyan, it is crucial to ensure that Turkey ceases to incite Azerbaijan and international terrorists to continue their inhumane aggression against democracy.

“The recognition of the independence of the Republic of Artsakh is necessary in order to establish sustainable peace in the region,” said the chief diplomat of Artsakh.

It is worth noting that the U.S. Secretary expressed hope that Armenians would be protected from Azerbaijani actions and that the peace process would be restored.
