Numerous Cases of Desertion Recorded in Azerbaijani Army: 'Pats'
International media are actively covering the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression against Artsakh, including the involvement of terrorists. Recently, several Russian media outlets reported that the Azerbaijani authorities overestimated their strength in this war, and the blitzkrieg strategy has not succeeded even with Turkey's assistance.
Noting the enormous losses of manpower and equipment, Russian media state that under such circumstances, Baku needs to deploy as many troops as possible to the battlefield. However, even against the backdrop of 'patriotic lessons', fewer and fewer ordinary Azerbaijanis are willing to fight, and the mobilization efforts are failing.
Specifically, infox.ru reports: 'Many of them have already witnessed the funerals of their neighbors or have buried their loved ones themselves. And a question arises—why... for a small mountainous region that is, in general, absolutely unnecessary for the vast majority of Azerbaijanis, for someone else's idea, or for the desire to teach their Armenian neighbors a lesson?' Of course, Baku conceals this information, but according to several sources, there have already been cases of desertion from the Azerbaijani army. Ordinary civilians do not want to perish for their president. They want to live, work, and raise their children. And they do not wish for their children to visit their fathers' graves.
By the way, several other media also mention that no matter how much the Aliyev clan tries to hide the truth from its people, significant discontent is brewing in Azerbaijan as a result.
