Military Attaché of the Iranian Embassy Visits Armenian Ministry of Defense
On October 16, Levon Aivazyan, the head of the main department of defense policy and international cooperation of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, met with Colonel Bahman Sadeghini, the military attaché of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia.
Aivazyan conveyed that despite numerous appeals from the Armenian side, the Azerbaijani armed forces continue to accumulate troops and carry out actions along the border with the Islamic Republic of Iran, thereby taking cover behind the state border.
The Iranian side was once again informed of the necessity to relocate Azerbaijani military operations to a safe distance from the border with Iran.
On behalf of the Artsakh Defense Army, it was communicated that should the situation in the mentioned area remain unchanged, the Defense Army reserves the right to carry out strikes against the Azerbaijani armed forces located in that area, with the Azerbaijani military-political leadership bearing full responsibility for the consequences.
