Iran Warns Armenia and Azerbaijan Again After Accidental Shelling of Its Territory

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has once again warned Armenia and Azerbaijan following an accidental rocket attack on Iranian territory during the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, which resulted in one injury.

On October 16, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh stated on Twitter, “If such shelling occurs again, the Islamic Republic of Iran will not remain indifferent,” without providing further details.

According to IRNA news agency, citing local officials, ten rockets fell on two villages in the Khoda Afarin region of East Azerbaijan province, destroying a building and injuring one person.
