Hovhannisyan on Treatment of Enemy Prisoners

During a press briefing, Armenian Ministry of Defense representative Artzruni Hovhannisyan addressed the issue of why the Armenian side demonstrates a humanitarian approach towards enemy prisoners. He responded, “We are human beings and have the corresponding value system; we are not wolves.”

He also informed that our forces are engaged in a very tough struggle. “The battles are very fierce; we are facing a very strong enemy that is not easy to defeat, but we must win and we will win. I am confident of this,” Hovhannisyan stated, emphasizing that the situation in Hadrut has not changed in the last two to three days and remains consistent.

Regarding which border sections are considered hotspots, he noted that the valleys of the Araks lowlands and the northern areas are the most intense battle zones.
