UNICEF on the 14-Year-Old Child Injured by Drone in Gegharkunik

UNICEF has reported with sadness that a 14-year-old child has been seriously injured while traveling to a field for the harvest in the community of Sotk, Gegharkunik Province.

Our hearts go out to him and all the children who have been affected by this conflict. UNICEF reiterates its urgent call to protect the population and civilian infrastructure; the immediate cessation of military operations is in the best interest of every child.

We are working with our partners to provide psychosocial support to children affected by the conflict and to address their other needs, UNICEF stated.
