Turkey is the Only Country Not Calling for a Ceasefire: Criticism from French Foreign Minister

France and Germany have accused Turkey of making provocative statements and actions. According to Reuters, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian has criticized Turkey for its role in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, during which it supports Azerbaijan against the Armenians.

“This issue cannot have a military solution; therefore, a ceasefire must become a reality. Turkey is the only country not calling for a ceasefire, and this is devastating,” the French minister stated.

“It is clear to us that Turkey is constantly engaging in provocative actions, which is unacceptable,” the politician added during a joint press conference with his German and Polish counterparts.
