Mercenaries from Azerbaijan Terrified by Armenian Snipers

Independent journalist Lindsey Snell, who was among the first to reveal the presence of Syrian mercenaries fighting in Artsakh, has published new evidence. She wrote on her Twitter microblog: “A soldier from the Syrian National Army who recently returned from Azerbaijan tells the following: ‘My brother and I fought in Syria throughout the war, but we have never seen anything like this. During one battle, we were 45 people on a small hill. One sniper killed 8 soldiers from the ‘Sultan Murad’ group and 2 from ‘Hamza’. Their snipers are like those we see in movies.’

The topic was also addressed by the spokesperson for the Armenian Defense Ministry, Artsrun Hovhannisyan, who wrote, ‘Yes, and mainly girls.’
