If Possible, Switch to Remote Work Mode: Gayane Sahakyan's Recommendation to Employers

The epidemiological situation in Armenia due to the coronavirus has worsened, with reported cases doubling. This was stated by Gayane Sahakyan, Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention at the Ministry of Health, during a press conference.

“Only yesterday and today have record numbers been registered, the situation remains severe. The escalation of the epidemic situation is related to the non-compliance with safety protocols, as well as the weakening of public vigilance,” Sahakyan said.

Sahakyan stated that the Ministry of Health continues to implement anti-epidemic measures while taking steps to reduce people's contact. “The Ministry of Health urges all employers and entrepreneurs to switch to remote working mode whenever possible, especially if they have individuals at risk or the elderly,” Sahakyan noted.
