Five Soldiers to be Awarded for Downing Enemy Drones

Rafik Ordoyan will be awarded the "Combat Service" medal for destroying three enemy UAVs. Major Armen Bakhtyan, Senior Lieutenant Gagik Amirkhanyan, Senior Lieutenant Tatul Babayan, and Junior Sergeant Narek Alaverdyan are also nominated for the same type of medals for their quick decision-making in complex combat situations and for taking out four enemy UAVs.

In the early hours of September 27, Azerbaijan launched an attack towards Artsakh, violating all international obligations, with the direct involvement of the Turkish army and terrorists brought in from the Middle East. During this time, both Artsakh and Armenian settlements were repeatedly shelled, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries among the civilian population, and dozens of buildings were destroyed, inflicting significant damage on civilian infrastructure.
