Turkey has blocked 100 tons of humanitarian aid from the United States to Armenia through its airspace. This announcement was made on October 14 during a press conference by the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan.
“In recent days, approximately 700 tons of humanitarian aid has been transferred to Armenia from various countries, including Russia, the United States, France, Ukraine, European countries, Javakheti, and Tbilisi, and this assistance is ongoing. There is also 100 tons of aid ready to come from the US to Armenia; however, Turkey has prohibited its airspace from being used for even humanitarian aid, which has resulted in this flight being postponed,” Sinanyan said.
