Sergey Lavrov has had a phone conversation with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister

On October 14, at the initiative of the Azerbaijani side, a phone conversation took place between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the head of Azerbaijan's foreign affairs agency, Jeyhun Bayramov. During the conversation, the parties discussed the difficult situation that has arisen in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone.

It was reiterated that the need to implement the trilateral agreement reached in Moscow on October 10 without deviation is paramount. The Russian side emphasized that there is no alternative to promptly agreeing on mechanisms for monitoring the ceasefire regime, as this would create a foundation for further steps towards the political-diplomatic resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
