Russia does not rule out the possibility of separate contacts with the United States regarding the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was stated by Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov, as reported by the TASS news agency.
“Contacts with the U.S. on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue will continue. Direct contacts are not entirely ruled out, depending on the situation in the region, including before the elections,” Ryabkov said.
“The U.S. State Department's comments failed to mention Russia's role in reaching an agreement on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue,” emphasized Ryabkov.
