Rudik Hyusnunts is not dead: This is yet another false information from Azerbaijan, V. Poghosyan

Azerbaijanis have spread yet another false information claiming that Rudik Hyusnunts, the Chief Advisor to the President of Artsakh and Special Envoy, has died. “Thank God, he is alive and healthy and continues to fully carry out his duties,” stated Vahram Poghosyan, the spokesman for the President of Artsakh.

It should be noted that on September 27, Azerbaijani forces launched a large-scale offensive in Artsakh, targeting even the civilian population. As of October 14, Artsakh's armed forces have downed 16 helicopters, 19 planes, 176 drones, and destroyed 521 military vehicles, mainly tanks, alongside 86 transport vehicles, 10 armored personnel carriers, 4 heavy flamethrower systems of the “TOS-1A” type, 4 “Smerch” and 1 “Uragan” multiple rocket launchers.

The enemy has suffered more than 5,489 casualties. On the Armenian side, preliminary data indicates there are 555 casualties. Azerbaijani armed forces have also targeted military and civilian infrastructures in Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia, resulting in the deaths of 2 civilians in Gegharkunik and 32 civilians in Artsakh, with 106 civilians injured. Preliminary data suggests that more than 6,700 private properties have been seriously damaged, over 640 vehicles, and around 1,110 infrastructural, public, and production facilities.

As a result of Azerbaijani shelling, journalists from both foreign and local media outlets have been injured. A state of martial law was declared in Armenia and Artsakh on September 27. A ceasefire came into effect from 12:00 on October 10; however, after the ceasefire, Azerbaijani forces conducted diversionary operations and shelling of civilian settlements in Artsakh.
