Iran Can Sell Weapons to Anyone Starting Sunday: Rouhani
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced that the UN-imposed arms embargo on Iran will expire on Sunday, after which Iran will be able to buy and sell weapons.
“Next Sunday, we will announce this good news to the public that the 10-year brutal embargo is coming to an end,” Rouhani said during a speech at a government meeting on Wednesday, according to the Mehr agency.
“We have fought for this issue for four years against America. The U.S. did everything to prevent the implementation on October 18; however, that day will come,” Rouhani added, noting that starting from Sunday, Iran will be able to sell its weapons to anyone.
