During the Nagorno-Karabakh war from 1991-1994, which lasted about 1000 days, the Armenian side experienced severe, extremely difficult, and even seemingly hopeless periods. Moreover, there were moments of panic, yet in all cases, we managed to overcome and reach the ceasefire in May 1994, which strengthened Armenia's position in the negotiation process.
In autumn 1992, we were on the verge of losing Lachin again, and not just Lachin. However, we resisted and triumphed, stated Arzrun Hovhannisyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, on his Facebook page.
