ECHR Rejects Turkey's Appeal for Lifting Interim Measures
WRed
The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has rejected Turkey's application to lift interim measures imposed against it. The court upheld its decision based on an application from the Republic of Armenia, stating that Turkey must refrain from violating the rights of the civilian population protected by the Convention, as reported by MP Sargis Khandanyan from the ‘My Step’ faction in the National Assembly.
It is reminded that Armenia had approached the European Court of Human Rights requesting measures against Turkey in connection with its provision of military assistance to Azerbaijan amid the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
