WRed
The Armenian community in San Francisco has organized a march advocating for peace in Artsakh, during which the Golden Gate Bridge was covered in the Armenian tricolor, reports Voice of America.
Participants in the event called on developed countries around the world to make full efforts to prevent war in Nagorno-Karabakh and, importantly, to protect the civilian population.
During the rally, under the sound of Armenian duduk music, attendees observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of those lost in the war. They displayed flags of Armenia and Artsakh, as well as banners with slogans such as “Strong Artsakh,” “Peace to Armenia,” and “Artsakh is Armenia.”
