Lavrov and Borrell Discuss Situation in Artsakh

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh with Josep Borrell, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

“The parties addressed the statement agreed upon by the foreign ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia in Moscow regarding the establishment of a humanitarian ceasefire in the conflict zone,” announced the European Union's External Action service.

Yesterday, Borrell called on the conflicting sides to immediately resume substantive negotiations under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group.
