Defense Ministry Representative on Having One Effective Solution Against Drones

“No one in the world has succeeded in having a uniform means against drones that would ensure full protection. Believe me, the discussion has not started since April 2016; it has been ongoing for the past 20 years in the most advanced countries, in the most prominent military academies,” said the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Arzharun Hovhannisyan, during a press conference today, in response to a question about what has been done to develop effective tools against drones.

Hovhannisyan stated that there is no single golden solution to this issue. It discusses complex solutions that include measures for detection, engagement, and combating. He emphasized this as a specialist who has been studying drones for the past 15 years.

The MoD representative also mentioned that yesterday he had to respond individually to many comments circulating on the internet, which are neither professional nor credible.
