Turkey Threatens All Its Neighbors, Attacks Them: Danish MP at PACE
The expanded session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has concluded in Strasbourg via video conference. During the session, speakers addressed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
PACE member Lars Aslan Rasmussen from Denmark reminded of the genocide committed by Turkey against Armenians, emphasizing the need to put a stop to Turkey.
“I think it is time to confront Erdogan. As you can see, Turkey threatens all its neighbors and attacks them. We see this in Syria, Cyprus, and now in Armenia. It is crucial to remember the genocide of the Armenian people, which was perpetrated by Turkey and denied to this day. Now they are attacking the Armenian population. We see that Turkey is bringing Syrian jihadists to attack the Armenian population. We have seen numerous pieces of evidence in recent days. We have heard Turkey's threats against Armenians, as well as against European countries. We have seen journalists imprisoned in Turkey who are writing the truth about all of this. We have witnessed that Turkey supports jihadists in Libya and Syria. It is time for us to tell Turkey to stop. Ending all this is not only Armenia and Azerbaijan's responsibility; it is also Turkey's responsibility,” Rasmussen said.
