Lachin Ceasefire Agreement Not Fully Observed, Lavrov Says

The meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia is taking place in Moscow. At the start of the meeting, Sergey Lavrov stated that the meeting is being held within the framework of planned negotiations and that it had been agreed upon long ago; however, it is indeed happening in the context of efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Lavrov also recalled that last week, at Putin's initiative, a trilateral meeting took place in Moscow.

“We see that those agreements are not being fully implemented, and military operations continue. We expect that the communications we have with both your side and our Azerbaijani neighbors, including at the level of the Ministries of Defense, will allow us to ensure the complete implementation of the agreements that were reached during the trilateral meeting,” Lavrov said.
