In September 2020, Azerbaijan was the Largest Buyer of Turkish Military Products

According to data released by the Turkish Exporters Assembly, Azerbaijan ranked first in the total exports of Turkey's defense and aviation industry in September 2020. In that month, Turkey exported military products worth $77,167,000 to Azerbaijan. This information is reported by ermenihaber.am.

In September 2020, the total exports of defense and aviation military technology from Turkey increased by 80% compared to the same period last year. This increase comes at a time when the total exports from January to September 2020 saw a 17% decline compared to the same period in 2019, totaling $1.521 billion.

During the January to September 2020 period, the largest exports from this sector were to the United States ($531 million). Following the United States were the United Arab Emirates ($127 million) and Germany ($123.7 million). Azerbaijan held fourth place with exports totaling $123.02 million.
