Hadrut is Under Full Control of Artsakh Defense Army

The city of Hadrut in Artsakh is under the full control of the Defense Army. This was stated by Artsrun Hovhannisyan, a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, during a press conference held on October 12.

“Diversionary-reconnaissance operations in the direction of the city of Hadrut have been stopped, and the enemy has been pushed back. The city of Hadrut is under the complete control of our Armed Forces,” Hovhannisyan emphasized.

Hovhannisyan noted that early this morning, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan resumed hostilities. “Azerbaijan has not fulfilled and does not intend to fulfill the ceasefire agreement. The statements by the Azerbaijani leadership that they were ready to comply are completely false,” he stated.

The MoD representative added that Azerbaijan’s attacks have resumed from three to four directions, heavy artillery has been used toward Martakert, and combat drones have been deployed. With the support of Turkish air forces, the enemy has also conducted 36 combat flights. During these operations, the Artsakh Defense Army managed to shoot down one SU-25 attack aircraft from the north.

There have been some reductions in combat operations during the night hours, during which the Azerbaijani Armed Forces conduct troop regrouping and reinforcements, in order to resume military operations again early in the morning.
