France Condemns Violation of Humanitarian Ceasefire Agreements in Nagorno-Karabakh
France condemns the violation of humanitarian ceasefire agreements in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. According to TASS agency, this was stated by a representative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs during a press briefing, urging both sides to strictly adhere to the agreements reached in Moscow.
„We condemn the continuation of violence, regardless of where it comes from, and call on both sides to put an end to this,” the representative stated.
Previously, France had welcomed the agreement on a humanitarian ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh, emphasizing that it must now be fully implemented to ensure conditions for ending hostilities.
„The ceasefire must be implemented and strictly monitored to create conditions for ending hostilities between the two countries once and for all. Substantive discussions that both sides are participating in under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group must be resumed without preconditions,” said Agnes von der Muehle, spokesperson for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
