Armenian-Belgian Cellist Performs at the Ghazanchetsots Cathedral in Shushi

A photograph has surfaced online showing Armenian-Belgian cellist Sevak Avanesyan performing at the bombed St. Amenaprkich Ghazanchetsots Cathedral in Shushi, drawing attention from a mute and indifferent world.

"I came here to say that churches should not be bombed. I performed the music of our great composer Komitas here, who, after escaping the genocide, was forced to leave his homeland. After that, he wrote 'The Crane.' Unfortunately, I live outside of Armenia, and this music is very dear to me," he stated.
