Turkey Does Not Abandon Its Position Aimed at Further Destabilization of the Situation: Armenia's MFA
The spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anna Naghdalyan, made a statement on her Facebook page regarding the accusations directed at Armenia by Turkey's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The statement is presented below:
“Today, Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement containing a series of unfounded accusations against the Republic of Armenia. It is evident that Turkey, which has been directly involved in the preparation and continuation of Azerbaijan's military aggression against Artsakh, does not abandon its position aimed at further destabilization of the situation and the failure of agreements reached.
Not limiting itself to supplying terrorist militants, military equipment, and specialists to Azerbaijan from the Middle East, Turkey has also taken on the sponsorship of Azerbaijan's unleashed informational and political campaign aimed at undermining the terms of the ceasefire agreement reached at the level of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Artsakh, and Russia on October 10 of this year, initiated by Russian President Putin.
Turkey's ambitions are clearly aimed at turning our entire region into a platform for the manifestation of its expansionist aspirations, just as it has done in several other neighboring regions.
We strongly condemn Turkey’s provocative policy in our region and emphasize the importance of cooperation among all forces interested in the stability of the region.”
