If a long war is desired, we will not back down. This was stated by the President of the Republic of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, during a press conference held today.

People of Artsakh wish for peace more than anyone else in the world, but we cannot accept conditions from a country whose goal is to annihilate the history and the people of Artsakh. I will declare a homeland war and call on all Armenians to take part materially and, if willing, physically.
