Residents of Nagorno-Karabakh Must Live Freely and Determine Their Lives: Mnatsakanyan
In the peace negotiation process, the primary focus for the Republic of Armenia has been and remains the security of our compatriots in Artsakh. The recognition and implementation of their right to self-determination holds particular significance in this context.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, while summarizing the results of the meeting of the foreign ministers of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan in Moscow.
“In the peace negotiation process, our priority has been and remains the security of our compatriots, and we place particular importance on recognizing and implementing their right to self-determination. This will lead to our compatriots in Nagorno-Karabakh achieving that critical goal, which enshrines their right to self-determination and establishes the reality that they must live freely and determine their lives and fate in that status as a unit recognized by all as an independent state,” he stated.
