David Tonoyan and Head of ICRC Delegation in Armenia Discuss Procedures for Exchange of Prisoners and Bodies of the Deceased

On October 10, Armenian Minister of Defense and head of the interagency commission on prisoners of war, hostages, and missing persons, David Tonoyan, received a delegation led by Clare Maitro, head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Armenia.

During the meeting, they discussed the procedures for the exchange of prisoners, detained persons, and bodies of the deceased, in accordance with the standards set by the ICRC, following the declared ceasefire along the Artsakh-Azerbaijan frontline for humanitarian purposes. These actions will be coordinated with the authorities in Artsakh.
