Possibility of Returning Injured Russian Journalists from Artsakh to Russia Under Consideration, Says Russian Ambassador to Armenia
The Ambassador of Russia to Armenia, Sergey Kopirkin, has announced on Russian First Channel that Russian journalists injured due to Azerbaijani aggression in the city of Shushi, Artsakh, have received necessary medical care, and discussions are currently underway regarding their return to Russia, according to TASS agency.
"The injured journalist has successfully undergone surgery, and his two colleagues, who also sustained serious injuries, have received the necessary medical attention. The issue of their repatriation is now being considered," he noted.
Earlier, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on three journalists who had been injured. It is known that one of them, Russian blogger Yuri Kotenok, is in serious condition. Among the injured is also Levon Arzhanov, a correspondent for the 'Russian Soldiers' portal.
