Azerbaijani Missile Falls in Dagestan
A report has surfaced regarding a missile falling and detonating in the Aguli region of Dagestan, according to topcor.ru. The incident occurred approximately 10 kilometers away from the village of Chirag. The Aguli area is located in the southern part of Dagestan, where more than 10,000 people reside.
According to local residents, the missile explosion triggered car alarms and shook residential buildings. Several residents went to the crash site and discovered fragments of the fallen missile along with a depression in the ground measuring about 15-20 meters in width, covered with burnt grass.
As the source notes, according to later information, a missile from Azerbaijan's С-300ПМУ-2 air defense system, specifically the 48Н6Е2 missile, fell on Russian territory. It appears that Baku utilized these systems to target Armenian operational-tactical 'points.'
