Turkey and Azerbaijan Are on the Brink of Diplomatic Suicide: Ruben Rubinyan

The actions and statements of Turkey and Azerbaijan have been publicly and privately criticized in the European Parliament, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), and in various national parliaments. The European Court of Human Rights has accepted interim measures requested by Armenia against Turkey and Azerbaijan. Russia, France, and Iran have confirmed the presence of imported Turkish-Azerbaijani terrorists in the conflict zone, while Greece has recalled its ambassador from Baku for consultations. This was stated by Ruben Rubinyan, the chairman of the National Assembly's Permanent Committee on Foreign Relations.

“Turkey and Azerbaijan are on the brink of diplomatic suicide,” he wrote.

In the early hours of September 27, Azerbaijan, in violation of all international obligations, launched an attack towards Artsakh with the direct participation of the Turkish army and terrorists brought in from the Middle East. During this time, both Artsakh and Armenian settlements have been repeatedly shelled, resulting in numerous casualties and injuries among the peaceful population, with dozens of buildings destroyed and significant damage inflicted on civilian infrastructure.

The Armenian Armed Forces are engaged in heroic and fierce battles against the adversary, inflicting heavy losses on both personnel and equipment.
