Shoigu Discusses Situation in Karabakh with Defense Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan

Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu held telephone conversations on Wednesday evening with the defense ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Davit Tonoyan and Zakir Hasanov. This was reported by the TASS news agency, citing the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“During the negotiations, the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed,” the ministry informed reporters.

It is noteworthy that on September 27, Azerbaijani forces launched a large-scale attack in Artsakh, also targeting the civilian population.
