No Meeting Scheduled Tomorrow Between Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers in Geneva: MFA Spokesperson
The reports circulating in the press that a meeting is set for tomorrow, October 8, in Geneva between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, are not accurate. No such meeting is scheduled.
Armenia's principled position is that there cannot be a situation where negotiations are conducted with one hand while military operations are being carried out against Artsakh and Armenia with the other hand. The urgent demand of the moment is to halt the large-scale military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh.
The Armenian Foreign Minister is in constant contact with the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and representatives of the co-chairing countries,” stated Anna Naghdalyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
