Soldiers' Accurate Shots Frighten Enemy and Force Retreat from Advancement: MoD

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stepanyan, presented heroic episodes from tank battles on her Facebook page.

"On October 2, during the enemy's offensive in the defense area of the Artsakh Defense Army, the commander of the company, Captain Gegham Martiki Martirosyan, accurately assessed the situation and the direction of the attack, and with his precise shots, struck down seven enemy tanks, forcing them to retreat in panic.

On the same day, during the enemy's attack in the defense zone, the squad commander, Junior Sergeant Sahak Vreji Mkrtchyan, destroyed two tanks, while the same squad's Junior Sergeant Ashot Yesayi Yesayan destroyed two tanks and two unarmored vehicles.

The accurate shots of the soldiers frightened the enemy and forced them to abandon their advancement. During the October 2 attack in the defense area, Major Hayaser Kamo Dallakyan struck down two attacking enemy tanks in front of a tank column, unexpectedly countering the enemy and hindering the advance of their tank unit."
