Kremlin Responds to Ruben Vardanyan's Appeal

Vladimir Putin has been briefed on businessman Ruben Vardanyan's request. Vardanyan has called on Russia to intervene in the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported by RBC, citing a statement from presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

Peskov emphasized that all of Moscow's efforts are directed towards ceasing hostilities and resuming negotiations between the parties. “It is hard to imagine more active steps than now,” the press secretary responded when asked about the potential strengthening of Russia's activity in resolving the conflict.

The day before, businessman and co-founder of the Skolkovo Business School Ruben Vardanyan had sent a video message to Vladimir Putin. In the message, he stated that the Karabakh conflict is not just a local issue for Armenia and Azerbaijan, calling it a “slow-motion geopolitical bomb” that could also affect Russia.
