Erdogan is the Main Instigator of a New Spiral in the Artsakh Conflict, Says Syrian President Assad

The President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, stated in an interview with RIA Novosti that Erdogan is the main instigator of a new spiral in the Artsakh conflict. Erdogan initiates wars to divert Turkish society's attention from internal issues following scandals related to the ISIS terrorists.

“He supports terrorists in Libya; he was the main instigator and initiator of the recent conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Nagorno-Karabakh,” said Assad.

Earlier, sources within the Syrian opposition informed RIA Novosti that a third batch of militants is being prepared for transfer from Syria through Turkey to participate in military operations in Nagorno-Karabakh, with two other groups already on-site.

Additionally, the Russian Foreign Ministry had previously announced that Moscow was concerned about reports concerning the transfer of militants from illegal armed groups to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. According to information received from the Russian side, illegal armed groups are being transferred specifically from Syria and Libya for direct participation in military operations.
