Zaruhi Batoyan Meets with the Iranian Ambassador to Armenia

On October 5, Minister Zaruhi Batoyan received the Ambassador of Iran to Armenia, Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri. This was reported by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

Minister Batoyan informed her interlocutor about the numerous human casualties and destruction resulting from the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan on September 27, with the support of Turkey and the involvement of foreign terrorist fighters against Artsakh.

She emphasized that the Armenian side is determined to address the social issues arising from the war initiated by Azerbaijan.

The Iranian ambassador expressed hope for a swift establishment of peace and the restoration of dialogue. The Iranian side also deemed the intervention of third countries in the conflict unacceptable.

The parties also discussed the possibilities for cooperation and exchange of experiences in the field of employment.
