Yerevan Allocates 100 Million AMD to Stepanakert for Planned Capital Works
The city of Yerevan will allocate 100 million AMD from the reserve fund of its 2020 budget to the capital of the Republic of Artsakh, Stepanakert, for the implementation of planned capital works. The issue of allocation is included in the agenda of the extraordinary session of the Yerevan City Council to be held on October 6.
The draft decision states: “Guided by Article 12, Part 1, Point 16 of the Law on Local Self-Government in Yerevan and Article 75 thereof, as well as Point 4 of Article 33 of the Law on the Budgetary System of the Republic of Armenia, the Yerevan City Council decides to allocate 100,000.0 thousand AMD from the reserve fund of Yerevan's 2020 budget for the planned capital works in the capital of the Republic of Artsakh, Stepanakert, through the budgetary classification of ‘Other capital grants to communities’.” The decision will come into force on the day following its official publication.
