Unable to Achieve Success on the Battlefield, Azerbaijan Talks About Imaginary Victories: Ministry of Foreign Affairs

The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement regarding the false information disseminated by Azerbaijan's military-political leadership. The statement reads:

Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh, supported by Turkey and involving foreign terrorist militants, is accompanied by a campaign of misinformation and fakes that crosses the limits of rationality. Unable to achieve any success on the battlefield, the Azerbaijani side simultaneously speaks of imaginary victories while spreading false news that Armenia is launching strikes against Azerbaijani settlements.

Among these is the recent misinformation about strikes on settlements deep in Azerbaijan from the territory of the Republic of Armenia. The purpose of this disinformation campaign is to cover up Azerbaijan's massive shelling of major settlements in Nagorno-Karabakh from the very first days of the war, which has resulted in numerous civilian casualties reported today and has caused serious damage to civilian infrastructure.

By spreading such false news, Azerbaijan is also preparing the ground for the continuation of its criminal policies and the expansion of the geography of war. Each provocation from the Azerbaijani side will receive an adequate response from the Republic of Armenia.
