This morning, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan began a massive bombardment of settlements in Artsakh. The Armed Forces of the Defense Army of Artsakh are responding appropriately to such actions by Azerbaijan, focusing solely on military targets, troops, and formations. They are working towards specific military objectives.

This was stated by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, Arzrun Hovhannisyan, during a briefing. He noted that the accusations made by the Azerbaijani military-political leadership against the Armenian side are misinformation and are unfounded.

“In the morning, especially in the southern direction, the enemy had launched a large-scale offensive attempt again, employing numerous forces, armored vehicles, and so on. They also tried to solidify their success throughout the day with videos claiming evidence of Armenian units’ presence; however, this was another example of trying to present minor temporary successes as significant victories,” Hovhannisyan stated.

According to Hovhannisyan, our troops and commanders have managed to inflict heavy losses on the enemy through tactical cunning and skillful maneuvers, repelling them and causing over 200 casualties, just in the southern direction. “At this moment, I cannot provide specific total figures on enemy losses, as the fighting was still ongoing for a long time,” he added.
