Putin Does Not Currently Plan Meetings with Erdogan and Aliyev, Says Peskov
Russian President Vladimir Putin does not currently plan to hold discussions with his Turkish and Azerbaijani counterparts, but is prepared to address the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with them if necessary. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
“If it is deemed necessary, there is no doubt that President Putin will certainly discuss this topic with his counterparts,” Peskov said during a conversation with journalists.
When asked whether such negotiations could take place next week, the Kremlin spokesman responded, “There are currently no specific plans in this respect, but you know that this concerns war; the situation in that war in Karabakh is evolving rapidly, which makes it difficult to make predictions.”
“Depending on how circumstances develop, the need for dialogue will also emerge,” Peskov's words were quoted by the TASS agency.
