Contrary to Georgia's Statement, Azerbaijani Cargo Planes Depart for Turkey; Cargo from Afghanistan Also Transported

Despite the Georgian government's announcement following yesterday's National Security Council meeting that it would supposedly ban the transport of military cargo over its airspace to the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict zone, it is a fact that Azerbaijani aircraft continue to fly to Turkey via Georgian skies. This is reported by Hetq.am.

Naturally, these planes, which have recently been 'sailing' across Georgian skies from east to west, are not transporting regular cargo from Turkey, a country that has unconditionally supported Azerbaijan and has become part of the conflict. It is unlikely that the Georgian authorities are so naive as not to understand this.

Since the Georgian government's announcement yesterday, today several cargo planes from the Azerbaijani Silk Way Airlines have flown to Turkey using Georgian airspace. One of them, registered as 4K-AZ40, took off today from Azerbaijan and is currently returning from Dalaman, Turkey, located on the Mediterranean coast (see below).
